Have your waste oil collected, hassle-free and good for the environment
Save time, protect the environment and get your documentation in order straight away
When oil from engines, gearboxes and hydraulic systems, for example, has done its job, it must be disposed of correctly. But that does not mean you have to spend time sorting out the logistics or pay extra.
Waste oil collection made easy
As a Uno-X customer, you can have your waste oil collected without any hassle. We are part of the Danish oil industry's waste oil collection scheme (Oliebranchens Indsamlingsordning for Spildolie), which means that Marius Pedersen A/S collects your used oil anywhere in Denmark, at no extra charge.
The scheme covers used oil that no longer meets the technical requirements and must therefore be handled as hazardous waste. The used oil is cleaned and re-refined, so it can be used again as base oil. This is both responsible and good for the environment.
Documentation for the authorities
When the oil is collected, you automatically receive a receipt that you can keep for your environmental records. Marius Pedersen reports all environmental data to the authorities, so you do not have to do anything. If you need an overview of previous collections (for example for an environmental inspection), simply contact Marius Pedersen, who will send you the history straight away.
How the collection scheme works
Order a collection from Marius Pedersen. Please note that you must order a collection of at least 200 litres at a time. If you do not have a container to start with, you can, for example, order an IBC (intermediate bulk container) from Marius Pedersen to collect your waste oil in.
- Comply with the authorities' requirements that the oil must be stored in approved containers on a firm, impermeable surface. If the oil is not stored in approved containers, they must be placed in a drip tray that can hold at least the contents of the largest container.
- Marius Pedersen pumps the oil out of your waste oil container: full containers are not collected.
- The waste oil must be no more than 20 metres from an access road.
- The waste oil must be "clean" lubricating oil, for example oil from engines, gearboxes and hydraulic systems.
- The oil is collected within a maximum of 10 working days.
- The oil must not be mixed with other liquids such as coolant, water, biodegradable oils or chemicals. These other liquids or oils must be stored and collected in separate containers intended for the purpose.
- Remember that oily items such as rags, used filters and other waste from the work must be collected in a separate container. They do not belong in the waste oil.
Biodegradable hydraulic oil is also covered by the scheme, but is collected separately.
Metalworking fluids (coolants), drilling and cutting oils and slideway oils are not included in the industry's joint waste oil scheme, as in their used form they contain water, swarf and so on. However, they can still be collected by Marius Pedersen, for a fee paid by the individual user.
Marius Pedersen regularly takes samples, and disposal will be invoiced if the waste oil contains types of oil and liquids that cannot be recycled.
Why collection is made as hassle-free as possible
When you buy lubricating oil, you automatically pay a small waste oil fee per litre. The fee goes to the joint waste oil collection scheme run by Drivkraft Danmark, the Danish industry association, which means you do not pay extra for collection.
✔ You avoid the hassle
✔ You avoid extra costs
✔ You help ensure the oil is reused responsibly
Important for biodegradable oils
If you use biodegradable oils, remember to state this clearly when you place your order. They must be stored and collected separately and must not be mixed with mineral oils. If they are mixed, the oil cannot be recycled, and the entire quantity has to be discarded.

Order waste oil collection
You can order by calling Marius Pedersen A/S or online on their website. Alternatively, you can email Marius Pedersen. Remember that it can take up to 10 working days for your waste oil to be collected, so it is a good idea to order before the container is completely full.
