The invisible deposits that sabotage your operations

You think your machines are running as they should. The measurements show that everything is under control. But behind the numbers, there may be problems you cannot see. Dirt and deposits build up in oil channels and valves: invisible at first, but with significant consequences in the long run.

You only find out when it is too late

Varnish is a common cause of operational disruption in turbines, compressors and hydraulic systems. And it is usually only discovered once operations are already affected. But this is exactly where you still have time to act.

This is where VARTECH Industrial System Cleaner from Texaco comes in. An innovative technology that cleans the system effectively while it is running.

Want to take a deeper look at how varnish forms, particularly in compressors? Read this technical review from Texaco.

No need to stop production

A thorough clean normally requires you to stop production, dismantle the system and spend hours, perhaps days, on a time-consuming process. That costs both time and lost production.

With VARTECH, you can clean the system while it is running. The cleaner is added directly to the oil already circulating in the system. It gradually dissolves varnish and deposits so they are flushed out of the system and can be drained off, without clogging filters and without the risk of blockages.

Even compressors that were close to being written off have been given a new lease of life with VARTECH.

Cleaner and gentler operation

VARTECH has been developed with smarter chemistry than traditional cleaning agents. It contains no solvents and is therefore far gentler on seals, filters and materials.

The result is cleaner, more stable operation, and a system that responds as it should. A clean system means better heat transfer, lower wear and an effective route to optimal operation after the oil change.

VARTECH provides cleaner and gentler operation

When does it make sense to use VARTECH?

Most users apply VARTECH ahead of a planned oil change, as an effective way of making sure everything is clean before the new oil is added. This applies in particular to turbines, compressors and hydraulic systems operating at temperatures between 50 and 120 °C.

Depending on how contaminated the system is, VARTECH needs to be left to work for a few weeks. During this process, the system can be operated as normal.

A small effort that can prevent major downtime

Operational disruptions rarely come out of the blue. They are often small problems that have built up over time. Problems that could have been avoided.

VARTECH makes it possible to act in time, without stopping operations. And that can be the difference between planned servicing and unexpected downtime.
